Music and Movement

Watching the kids dance and sing to the song Don’t Give Up on Me and You are the Reason. 🕺🏻🎤

Getting to Know Each Other

Having a very long snack break together and chatting about movies and songs we like. 🍇🍎🍿

Story Time

Hearing the bizarre story they told me of the Russian spies hiding in the church we practice in. 😂

Finding Focus

Funny fact: To get the kids focus we all raise a hand, put one finger over our mouth and sing the highest sound we can make.

I’m so proud of these kids. Not only have we learned a bunch of songs in such a short amount of time, but we’ve also been able to include a few harmony parts in some of them already! These kids are young and the majority of them have never sung before, so this is a huge win!

Samantha Kadet is the Music Director of Tomorrow’s Voices’ Hamilton Chapter. In its inaugural year, the choir grew into a group of young musicians. This year gave the kids the opportunity to attend Chantal Kreviazuk’s sound check in Hamilton, and sing for her, under Samantha’s direction. An amazing experience for everyone!
